Maureen Reis Feeney

Maureen Reis Feeney received a BA in Sociology from Fordham University and a dual MAT in Elementary Education and Special Education from Manhattanville College.

After spending ten years at home full time with her children, Brigit, Tara, and Robert, she returned to the schools to teach young children for over 20 years. Maureen now enjoys spending her time with family and friends, sewing, quilting, gardening, and photographing nature.

Andrew Feeney

Andrew Feeney currently works as a licensed psychotherapist in his own practice in Albany, NY, specializing in the treatment of trauma-related disorders.

Prior to working as a psychotherapist, he served in New York State government for more than 32 years in a variety of executive positions in public safety, including Director of the New York State Office of Emergency Management. He received his MS Ed. in Mental Health Counseling from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY in 2017 and his BA in Communications from Fordham University in 1983.

Craig Mackie

Craig Mackie received a BS in Marketing & Management from Fordham University. He enjoyed a successful 37 year career in Sales & Project Management with Verizon Communications.

Since retiring, Craig has enjoyed spending time with his family, particularly his five young grandchildren. Craig has also enjoyed spending time with friends and pursuing hobbies such as biking, crossword puzzles, and origami.

Craig was proud to be Brigit’s uncle; he is married to Maureen Reis Feeney’s sister, Connie Reis Mackie.

Amy Vorenberg

Amy Vorenberg is professor emeritus at the Franklin Pierce University of New Hampshire School of Law. She was the founding director of the school’s Criminal Practice Clinic and directed the Legal Writing Program for many years.

She began her legal career in New York as a Manhattan Assistant District Attorney. Later she worked as an Assistant Attorney General in New Hampshire before moving to the NH Public Defender's office. She served for ten years on the New Hampshire Adult Parole Board. 

She chairs the board of The New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence.

Kimberly Kirkland

Kimberly Kirkland practices law at Reis & Kirkland in Manchester, New Hampshire. Before joining her husband to form Reis & Kirkland, Kimberly was a tenured faculty member at the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law.  She was fortunate to be Brigit’s Aunt. Kimberly is married to Brigit’s Uncle, Randy Reis. She is mom to sons Evan and Liam, stepmom to Katy and Laura, and Kimba to grandkids Asa, Ian, Rowan, Addy, Mariam and Zach. She is also dog mom to Willie.

Andrew Yaksic

Andrew Yaksic is an IT supervisor living in Manchester, NH. Originally from Everett, MA, Andrew met Brigit when his wife Bianca joined the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office. Andrew is proud to serve as Secretary of the Brigit A. Feeney Foundation for Hope and Healing to advance the causes to which Brigit dedicated her life.

Melissa Robles

Sgt. Melissa Robles (Ret.) served with the New Hampshire State Police for 20 years, in assignments covering patrol to narcotics to major crimes. Sgt. Robles worked closely with Brigit, the foundation's namesake, with whom she shared a special bond through their respective collegiate sports teams at their alma mater, Franklin Pierce University.

Joelle Wiggin

Joelle Donnelly Wiggin works as a victim specialist/paralegal for Nixon Peabody’s Government Investigations & White-Collar Defense practice. She served as an advocate with the New Hampshire Department of Justice’s Office of Victim and Witness Assistance for 15 years. She was partnered with Brigit for nine years in homicide work. 

She earned her master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in criminal justice from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Haven. Joelle serves on multi-disciplinary teams in New Hampshire as they continue to improve the services for victims of crimes.
